Thank you for exploring this site.

I have been a registered Maxillofacial Specialist Surgeon since 2016 and underwent further temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgical training in the United States and New Zealand. My reputation in this field is well regarded. The two main procedures I undertake are TMJ arthroscopy and replacement in which I have gained considerable experience. I regularly give lectures and teach surgeons in training.

My undergraduate training began in Sydney University over two decades ago in Dentistry and followed with a Medical Degree from Monash University in Melbourne. Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial surgical training was then completed in New Zealand.

I was a leading consultant in New Zealand and supervisor of Maxillofacial training for many years in Christchurch prior to my return to Sydney. In New Zealand, I was a well regarded facial trauma surgeon and mentored many trainees over the years in the operating theatre and academically which you can see from a list of publications below.

Furthermore, I am a full member/Fellow of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joints Surgeons. This is an invite only organization with members who are world leading pioneers in TMJ surgery. Fellowship is only granted after a rigurous process involving extensive experience, peer review, log books and scientific publication.
